Just some things the kids say or said that I didn't want to forget...
Catherine loves nursery rhymes and calls Humpty Dumpty: "Humpty-Humpty."
When Jacob started crying about a toy train we couldn't find at the store the other day Catherine coached him thru it soothingly and patiently, ending with "do you understand Jacob? O-tay, Jacob?" He later fell asleep in the car on the way home and before she would allow me to get her out she insisted upon kissing him and patting him, "I'm loving on him" she said.
One day when picking the kids up from school (I'd already gotten Catherine) we arrived at Jacob's classroom where he came over to his sister, put his arm around her and introduced her to his teachers. "This is my sister Catherine; isn't she beautiful?" The teachers are still talking about that one. : )
Jacob when asked if he wanted to make the Halloween brownie bites I bought at the store responded with: "I'd be honored" and then took a bow. (Apparently they taught the preschoolers how to bow in music at school.)
